Adult Camp 2024 kicked off on July 7th serving 22 individuals this year. Many of our campers have been to summer camp with UCP in years past, so they we’re excited to experience their favorite activities such as kayaking, archery and swimming. Our adult campers also embraced new challenges such as the zip line, flying squirrel and even reached higher limits on the alpine tower. Many of them made new friendships, bonded with familiar faces and enjoyed spending time together during our talent show/skit night. “We had fun enjoying the conversation, laughter, and adventure exploring Camp Grizzly. We played lawn games, enjoyed arts and crafts, and making memories with each other,” a counselor told us.
One of our counselors shared with us “Many who attended camp last year were able to step outside their comfort zone by trying activities they were not comfortable with last year because of the friendship they made last year. The camper supported each other in encouraging each other.
