Job Summary:
UCP of Sacramento and Northern California is currently accepting applications for a Full Time Transportation Coordinator in our Transportation Department. This position works closely with the Transportation Coordinator II position, providing support to the Division Manager through general supervision of routing, on time performance, dispatch, and direction of staff and division operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Develop and supervise routes, and coordinate with operators to see that clients are transported to and from programs in a safe and efficient manner while watching on-time performance.
• Maintain appropriate records, while ensuring vital information for division accountability, billing, and key performance indicators.
• Provides support to, works, and communicates with the dispatchers and operators and monitors system and on-time performance.
• Assists in minimizing service disruptions due to vehicle/operator availability and/or emergency situations.
• Develops and coordinates route expansions to increase growth of the Transportation division.
• Plays an important role in employee safety, while providing a positive work environment for all employees.

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Be professional, courteous and have strong customer service and employee relation skills.
• Excellent communication skills over the Phone, Radio, Written and in Person.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
• Ability to learn Routematch and other dispatch programs.
• Be very familiar Sacramento and Yolo Counties.
• Ability to multitask when necessary and have good problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a public transportation setting is preferred but not required.

Pay Rate: $17.00 – 20.00 DOE
Schedule: Full-Time
